Why Yoga Is Good for Flexibility

Fitness is a great way to get fit and relax.

But what does yoga really mean for flexibility?

Yoga for flexibility is an ancient and highly effective yoga technique which, according to its proponents, can be used to improve posture, strengthen joints and even to reduce fatigue.

In a recent article, the University of Minnesota published a review article on the effects of yoga for flexibility and found that yoga can help with the following areas of flexibility: Balance, flexibility of the hips, thoracic spine and trunk, shoulder and back.

“Yoga can be useful in stabilising your posture,” says the article, titled Yoga for Flexible Posture.

The article goes on to highlight the benefits of yoga’s flexibility of joints, spine and torso.
